Established in February 2007, Briese Lawyers is a dynamic firm based in Toowoomba offering a wealth of legal experience to its valued clients.

Kym Briese

kymAs the Principal of Briese Lawyers, Kym focuses on assisting clients with personal legal issues in such areas as Family Law, Personal and Business Estate Planning and Estate Administration.


Having started her legal career in 1990, Kym’s extensive experience and intricate knowledge of legal processes allows her to offer advice that is realistic, practical and solution focused. 

Kym’s passion for people and healthy relationships sees her adopt a holistic approach with clients. Kym’s goal is to empower clients to choose the best processes and outcomes to resolve the issues they face, whilst minimising cost and delays.

Kym holds a Bachelor of Laws from QUT, a Certificate of Mediation and Collaborative Law Training, a Diploma in Child Psychology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Studies (Family and Relationship Counselling), and is a Licensed Relationship Coach with RCI. 

Kym is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in Queensland and Solicitor of the High Court, in Australia.
