Dorcas graduated with a double degree in law and psychology from Macquarie University in Sydney and studied International Law in the Netherlands. Dorcas has a passion for family law with previous experience as a face-to-face counsellor with Lifeline and a support worker for young adults with disabilities. During her training, Dorcas has gained experience in a range of legal areas, but now focuses on Wills and Estates and Family Law.

Dorcas is engaged in the community through her role on the Toowoomba Business Networkers Executive Board and the Hope for our Children Directors Board. She enjoys building connections with the community. Prior to joining us here at Briese, Dorcas volunteered her time as a mentor in various capacities, and conducted prison visits to care for children while their parents had visitation hours as a part of Shine for Kids.

In her spare time, Dorcas loves to travel, read and spend time with her family. She has visited over 30 countries, has three cats, one dog and a husband. 

Dorcas is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in Queensland.
